Paul Maynard Closure Report

This Statement of Findings is issued in accordance with Section 9 and 9A of the Parliamentary Standards Act 2009 and the Procedures for Investigations by the Compliance Officer for IPSA.

On 8 January 2024, following receipt of a referral from the Chief Executive Officer of IPSA, the Compliance Officer opened an investigation into the alleged use by Mr Paul Maynard MP of his constituency office and IPSA-funded office equipment for non-parliamentary purposes.

The scope of the investigation was to consider claims submitted under the following areas of the Scheme:
